Being able to handle and do your responsibilities is proof of maturity. In real life or army for that matter each rank or position in life(work) takes on more responsibilities. If you can can't handle them then you don't need that new position. (Exsample: Your promoted to manager of a corporate company. Yet you refuse to bring in new employees.
